If you want to stop chatting on any particular channel, do one of these:
- Click the 'close window' box of the channel window;
- Choose Part... from the Commands menu, then add the channel name;
The Channel window will close, putting you back in the Console window.

In order to stop a chat session completely and disconnect from the server;
- Choose Close connection from the File menu (you can also leave a 'goodbye' message with this);

When you have completely finished, you can type 'command-Q' to quit ircle. It would be a good idea to save your preferences when prompted, so that you can keep the server and channel details for your next session.
