| System Requirements: | Ircle claims compatibility with all Macintosh models, from the Macintosh Plus to PowerPC's. You need to be running System version 7.0 or higher and either the MacTCP 2.0.x driver or Open Transport v1.1 or higher. Ircle currently needs only 525k of RAM, but will run in 450k. Allocating more memory increases the number of windows you can have open at one time. |

| Cost: | Ircle is shareware, which means that you are allowed to freely copy (without charging for it) Ircle and 'test drive' it for 30 days. If you like the program and want to keep on using it legally, you must register by paying the shareware price (US $15 or equivalent), which will get rid of the register screen. Ircle has no features disabled when not registered. | |

| Pros and Cons: | Ircle's major advantages are that the windows are straightforward in look and operation and it can handle most of the advanced IRC command set including DCC and faces and sounds; it's disadvantage is that it helps to know some nasty IRC text commands to type in to use it. This newest version however has a vastly increased number of operations that can be carried out via menus or window buttons (customisable in 3.0, along with scripting, faces, sounds and a much better DCC.) On a personal note, I have found ircle to be about the most reliable of the clients available. |
